Description / Color / Consistency: A thin colorless to yellow-brown, often pale yellow clear thin liquid (Fresh and Dried).
Aromatic Summary / Note / Strength of Aroma: A middle note of medium aroma, Clary Sage Essential Oil has a herbaceous with a sweet, floral aroma. The Dried variety has a slightly vinous odor, in comparison to the Fresh variety, which has a slight green odor.

Properties / Uses: Sedative on the nervous system and spasmodic on smooth muscle due to linalyl acetate. The oil exhibits a cooling effect on inflammation.
Treating depression, cleansing and rejuvenating skin and hair. Clary sage is used as a component in soaps, detergents, creams, lotions and perfumes.
Essential oil is packaged in an amber glass bottle with dropper cap (orifice reducer cap) for easy application.
